MIXED USE 19-UNIT BUILDING

Under Construction

128 BRUNSWICK

Replacing a midblock industrial building in the Village neighborhood of Jersey City, this 25,000 sf five-story building will have 10 one-bedroom and 9 two-bedroom rental apartments over a 10 car garage and two small retail spaces to provide for local services.

The Brunswick Street elevation is designed to fit with its neighbors by recessing a portion of the Fifth Floor, reflecting the diversity of window patterns found in the surrounding historic fabric, and using a brick color to match the original used on the 19th century neighbors.

The First Floor has a different, unaligned pattern of brick and storefront to reference the storefronts that use to line Brunswick and other streets when it was known as "Bushel" Street and this was called the Italian Village.
